On 16/02/2016 Ld Court of SDJM, Kamalpur convicted one accused person and sentenced to suffer Rigorous imprisonment for 01(One) year and to pay fine of Rs-2000/- and in default he will suffer 01 (One) month of Simple imprisonment for offence punishable U/s 498(A) of IPC.

The Case was registered on 05/12/2013 at 1345 hrs. The fect of the case in brief is that on 08/12/1999   the Complainant of the case and the accused person was solemnized as per social customs. After 10 years of their conjugal life the accused person started misbehavior, physical and mental torture upon the Complainant and her daughter.

This refers Ambassa P/S Case No-71/2013 Dated-05/12/2013 U/S 498(A)/506/109 IPC. After completion of investigation, IO of the Case submitted Charge Sheet in the Ld Court of SDJM, Kamalpur for facing trial.

One accused person convicted in Theft Case for  01 (One) Year Binding and Bond of Rs-10,000/- :-

On 12/06/2015 Ld Court of JM 2^nd Class, Kamalpur convicted one accused person  for 01(One) year Binding and Bond of Rs-10,000/-. The Accused person is released under Probation of Offender Act.

        The Case was registered on 29/05/2013 at 1315 hrs on the basis of written complaint of the Complainant namely Smti Sushmita Paul W/O Lt Sunil Chandra Paul; of Kalarcheri No-02, P/S Kamalpur against the 03(Three) accused persons. This refers Kamalpur P/S Case No-45/2013 Dated-29/05/2013 U/S 379/411IPC (GR-110/13). After completion of investigation, IO of the Case submitted Charge Sheet vide Kamalpur P/S Charge sheet No-38/2013 Dated-30/06/2013 U/Section 379/411 IPC against  03 accused persons in the Ld Court of SDJM Kamalpur for facing trial.

              On the night of  19/07/2013 one   person was murdered at Chapalia para. This refers Dhumacherra P/S Case No-03/2013 Dated-20/07/2013 U/S 457/302 IPC (ST-24(NT/K)2014).  After investigation IO has submitted charge sheet vide Dhumacherra P/S Charge sheet No-01/2014 Dated-29/01/2014 U/Section 457/302 IPC against the   accused person in the Ld Court .

                        Ld Court of District Session Judge Court, Unokoti convicted  accused person  and sentenced him to   Rigorous Imprisonment for Life and pay fine of Rs-5000/- and in default he will suffer further Imprisonment of 06(Six) months under section 302of IPC.  

One accused person convicted in Rape Case for 01(one) year & also sentenced to  pay fine of Rs-10,000/- :-

           On 28/07/2015 Ld Court of Addl. District Session Judge Court, Kamalpur convicted accused persons and sentenced  him to suffer 01(One) Year Rigorous Imprisonment and to pay fine of Rs-10,000/- and in default he will suffer further Imprisonment of 03(Three) months under section 354 of IPC. He is also sentenced to pay fine of Rs-500/- and in default he will suffer further Imprisonment of 01(One) month  under section 341 of IPC. Both the sentence shall run concurrently.

          The Case was registered on 29/01/2011 at 1635 hrs on the basis of written complaint of the Complainant namely Miss Chumki Das (15) D/o Lt Subodh Das of No. 02 Kalachari PS- Kamalpur  against accused person namely Sanjib Ghosh (24) S/o lt. Krishna kamal Ghosh of No. 02 Kalachari, PS-Kamalpur. This refers Kamalpura PS Case No. 08/2011 Dated- 29/01/2011  U/S- 341/109/376 IPC  (ST-21/12, GR-16/11). After completion of investigation SI Uttam Sarkar of Kamalpur PS (Now posted at Raishyabari PS, Dhalai District), IO of the Case submitted Charge Sheet vide Kamalpur P/S Charge sheet No-80/2011 Dated-31/07/2011 U/Section 341/109/376 IPC against the above noted accused person in the Ld Court of Addl. District Session Judge Court, Kamalpur for facing trial.

Two accused person convicted in Rape with Murder Case & Sentenced to suffer life conviction & death sentence & to pay fine of Rs. 20,000/- :-

          A case vide No. 03/14 U/s 366(A)/376(2)(1)/302 IPC was registered in Rashyuabari PS in c/w murder of one minor girl. It was a blind murder case. The case was detected by the Io Shri Kishore Debbarma, Addl, SP Dhalai. In course of  investigation all the involved accused person were arrested. After investigation submitted charge sheet against the IO with in short period for custody trial of the accused.

                On 23/09/2015 Ld Court of Addl. Session Judge, Kamalpur convicted 02(two) accused persons  & sentenced to suffer  Rigorous  life imprisonment  & to pay fine of Rs-10,000/- for the offence  U/s 376 IPC and  sentence to suffer Rigorous imprisonments  for 7(seven ) years & to pay fine of Rs-10,000/- for the offence  U/s 4 of POCSO Act & also sentenced   for death for offence  U/s 302 IPC. With this conviction general public appreciated the police and shown faith on criminal justice system.

One accused person convicted in Hurt Case Sentenced to suffer 13 (Thirteen) month rigorous imprisonment &  fine of Rs-1000/- :-

Ambassa P/S Case No-42/2011 Dated-29/09/2011 U/S 326 IPC ended in conviction .

            On 13/10/2015 Ld Court of JM 1^st Class Kamalpur convicted one accused person and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 01(one) year for offence punishable U/s 324 IPC and  sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 01(one) month with fine of Rs-500/- for offence punishable U/s 451 IPC  & also sentence to fine of Rs 500/-  for offence punishable U/s 341 IPC.

                  The Case was registered on 28-09-11  on the basis of written complaint of the Complainant namely Sri Mithun Das (21) S/o Lt. Sunil Das of Jawharnagar PS Ambassa against Sri Mithin Sarkar(25) S/o Lt. Sudhir Sarkar of Jawharnagar PS Ambassa to the effect that on 23-09-11 at about 2100 hrs the FIR named  accused person    assaulted  brother of the complainant resulting which  victim  received grievous injury on their person & the injured person shifted to AGMC Hospital ,Agartala for treatment.
