Seized 4080 bottles of foreign liquor by Champak nagar PS |

Based on secret information OC Champakanagar along with OC Jirania and team detained one vehicle bearing no AS01 W 9711 proceeding towards Agartala from Teliamura side at the break of night today. 4080 bottles of foreign liquor of different brands were seized from the vehicle. Break up 1. Caravan- 128 cartoons, 1536 bottles, 2. Kingfisher beer- 56 cartoons, 1344 bottles and 3. Tuborg beer- 50 cartoons, 1200 bottles. The driver of the vehicle Saymal Majumder of Lichubagan, PS- NCC is arrested and vehicle is seized. |

On 24/07/2019 O/C CPH PS accompanied with SDPO KHW, Coy Commander of D/21 Assam Rifle & Coy Commander of 191 Bn BSF BOP Bachaibari and Staff paid ambush at Barobagai near Barobagai BOP on KMP-KHW road to detain one vehicle white colour Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire vide B/R No – TR-07-A-0360. After searching they recovered total - 90,000 YUBA tablets. In this regard a specific case has been registered at Khowai PS vide KHW PS Case No. 73/2019, U/S- 22(C)/25/29 of NDPS Act 1985. |
