Khowai District Supdt. of Police(DIB) Section provides services like Character and Anticeedents Verification to the public in general.

                  On recieving Attestation Form from other offices like District Magistrate, Central Offices or any other department, the application is forwarded to the police station having jurisdiction of the residential address of the applicant for verification of his character and anticeedents. On completion of verification, police stations sends the report to the DIB section of the O/O Supdt. of Police for  processing the same and further disbursement to the authority from where it is recieved.

            In cases, where any individual application requiring Character and Anticeedent Verification Certificate for job interviews, higher education in other states,emergency international passport etc is recieved, the person is directed to submit service fee of Rs 150/- through challan in Govt. treasury. On receopit of the same , his application is forwarded to the police station having jurisdiction of the residential address of the applicant for verification of his character and anticeedents. On completion of verification, police stations sends the report to the DIB section of the O/O Supdt. of Police for  processing the same and further disbursement to the applicant.
