It is my immense pleasure to share this platform for sharing my thoughts and actions of District Police. At the outset, I feel it imperative to air that this new District stated its journey in January 2012 with some natural challenges. After the initial hiccups, we have been able to leave the marks of policing in terms of service in our domain. This has been a result of unbreakable chain of endeavours extended by all stakeholders of District police.

    This district with its demographic nature makes the role of police quite relevant. Since the inception of the District, we have been able to maintain a unique co-existence of different faiths in peace and harmony.To put the matter forward further, I would talk about the community policing in the form of prayaas meetings. This Prayaas initiative has brought police and public closer to each other. As far as Sepahijala District is concerned, there has been positive sign of improvement in the public life with regard to reduction of crime and better Law and Order. As a whole, Sepahijala District Police is marching forward for meeting the commitments of today’s challenges of policing. Hopefully we will find you all standing by us in meeting the expectations.
