TRAFFIC AWARENESS PROGRAMME:
* * On 05-01-2015 organized a traffic awareness programme at Santirbazar motor stand. Local school students and teachers along with motor sramik participated in the programme. After the programme, the school student discharged duties as traffic volunteer along with police. This was highlighted in the media and local public also appreciated.
COMMUNITY POLICING
*On 06-01-2015 organized a volley ball tournament in Katahalchari school, an interior tribal village under Manubazar PS for increasing good police public relationship. Youths from Interior club in Sabroom Sub-Division participated in the tournament. All of them were awarded prize by organizing a programme where Hon’ble MLA, MDC, BAC chairman and SP (South) participated. All public representative and local public appreciated the programme.
* On 07-01-2015 organized Rickshaw race competition in Belonia town for decreasing the distance between police and common public. Total 52 rickshaws puller participated in the race. All the participants were awarded prize by organizing a programme where local public representative including Hon’ble MLA, Chairperson Belonia Municipal council, SP (South) and other dignitaries were participated. All of them appreciated the good work done by the police towards the common public.
INAUGURATION OF BORDER HUT
* On 13-01-2015 made adequate police arrangement in c/w inauguration of border hut at Srinagar under MNB PS with in very short notice. Making Police arrangement in side Bangladesh where Hon'ble Chief Minister, Tripura, Hon'ble Commerce Minister, India, Hon'ble commerce Minister, Bangladesh along with other VVIP attended was, a challenging Task. Due to good police arrangement, local public, media and senior officials from India and Bangladesh appreciated the work.
POLICE AND PUBLIC IN ACTION AGAINST ILLICIT LIQUOR -
* Acting on a tip of, ASI Bikash Debnath of BLN PS conducted raid on 22-01-2015 at Bankar market and seized 82 bottles F/L U/S 69 T.E Act. During the raid, local public assisted in arrest of the accused and seizure of Foreign liquor. The local public appreciated the work of police.
ROBBER CONVICTED-
* On 28-01-2015 Ld. Court of J.M 1ST Class Belonia convicted accused Abushi Mog @ Litan (35) S/O LT. Neon Mog of MLA Para (JLB), P.S-BKR and sentenced to suffer R.I for 03(three) years for his commission of offence punishable U/S 392 IPC .This ref. STB P.S Case No. 32/2013 dated 26-05-2013 U/S 392 IPC. This was indeed possible due to good investigation and Pairovi work. The local public and family member of the victim were pleased to see the judgement. RTA AWARENESS PROGRAMME
* On 02-02-2015 one RTA awareness programme was organized at Nalua market where local public representative, motor sramik and SP (South) participated. There was detailed discussion on how to reduce RTA Cases. The local public appreciated the initiative of police in reducing RTA cases.
GIRL RECOVERED BY TRACKING MOBILE PHONE-
* Tracking mobile tower location, on 04-02-2015 a team of police headed by SI Ranjit Datta recovered the victim and at the same time arrested the accused Thaiyarai Tripura who kidnapped one minor girl from Dhananjoy Nagar, Raju Bari under Belonia PS on 31-01-2015. The local public and family member of the victim expressed their satisfaction.
GIRL RECOVERED BY GOOD SOURCE-
* On 06-02-2015 one minor tribal girl kidnapped by three persons were recovered by a police team headed by SI Badal Mallik. All the accused were also arrested. In this recovery and arrest SI Badal Mallik engaged his secret source and got the success. The local public and family member of the victim expressed their satisfaction.
PUBLIC SATISFACTION ON ANTI LIQUOR RAID-
* On 10-02-2015 PRB P.S conducted raid at Barpathari and recovered 300 (Three hundred) bottles cough syrup and 80 (eighty) bottles foreign liquor of different seize and brand. The local public appreciated the work of police.
MURDERER CONVICTED-
* On 13-02-15 Ld. Court of District & Sessions Judge, Belonia convicted accused Shetoi Sema (24) S/O Sri Akhabi Sema of Mongsu Mog Para (South Takma), P.S- STB, ( surrendered extremist of NSCN-IM) & sentenced to suffer R.I for life for the offence punishable U/S- 302 IPC. This ref. STB P.S Case No. 03/14 dated 16-01-14 U/S 302/201/34 IPC.This was indeed possible due to good investigation and Pairovi work. The local public and family member of the victim were pleased to see the judgement.
LEGAL AWARENESS PROGRAMME
* On 14-02-2015 organized awareness programme among school student in Bagafa class -XII school. There was detailed discussion on crime against women, RTA, Chit fund and detection of FICN on bare eyes basic rules of health and hygiene . This was organized as a part of NSS camp of the school.
COMMUNITY POLICING-
* On 18-02-015 a cloth distribution ceremony was held at Belonia PS complex and total 160 nos. cloths were distributed to needy people. Hon’ble MLA, Chairperson Belonia Municipal council, SP (South) and other dignitaries were participated. All of them appreciated the good work done by the police towards the common public.
DEAD LOCK ENDED -
* There was obstruction in construction of IBB fencing in Rangamura under P.R. Bari PS. Public were given all kinds of benefits yet they were resisting the construction. The work was stopped since last 10 years. On 19-02-2015 a meeting was held in Rangamura where DM (South), SP (South), ADM (S), Local public representative including Prayaas beat committee member were present and the dead lock was solved. DM (S) and public representative and also the local public and officials of construction agency appreciated the work of police in counselling them in a proper way.
RAPIST OF MINOR CONVICTED-
* On 23-02-15 Ld. District & sessions judge (South), Belonia convicted Remrechai Mog (24) @ Raju MogS/O Chatai Mog of Sinduk Pathar P.S MNB, Sabroom South Tripura& sentenced to suffer R.I for a terms of 07(seven) years. This ref. SBM P.S Case No. 22/2014 Dated 05-03-14 U/S 376(2) (n) /506 IPC & sec.6 read with 5(l) of P.C.S.O Act-2012. This was indeed possible due to good investigation and Pairovi work. The local public and family member of the victim were pleased to see the judgement.
POLICE IN ACTION AGAINST ILLICIT LIQUOR -
* On 26-02-2015 officers of STB PS conducted special raid against illicit liquor and seized 48 bottles. Rum containing 750 M.L each. Beside this they also seized 217 packets C/M liquor containing 200 M.L each at STB market area. The local public appreciated the work of police.
HUMAN FACE OF POLICE-
* On 26-02-2015 organized blood donation camp at Belonia. The programme was inaugurated by a rickshaw puller. In this programme DM, local MLA, Sabhadipati, Chairmen BMC, SP (South) participated and appreciated the initiative of police. The local media also highlighted the gesture of police to get the programme inaugurated by a rickshaw puller.
UNKNOWN MURDER CASE DETECTED-
* On 03-03-2015 unidentified dead body of women was found at Chandrapur , Bankumari under P.R. Bari P.S by the road side. Based on the secret source information the accused was arrested, weapon of offence were recovered and dead body was also identified. This refers P.R. Bari PS Case No. 16/15 dated 03-03-2015 u/s- 302 IPC. The victim family and local public expressed their satisfaction on the speedy arrest of accused and timely detection of the case including recovery of weapon of offence.
VICTIM OF ATTEMPT TO MURDER GOT JUSTICES-
* On 03-03-2015 Ld. Court of District & sessions judge (South), Belonia convicted Sri Sadhan Shil (35) S/O Lt. Birendra Shil of Ekinpur, P.S-PRB, South Tripura& sentenced to suffer R.I for 07 (seven) years U/S 307 IPC. This ref. PRB P.S Case No. 61/2012 Dated 24-07-12 U/S 342/353/323/307 IPC. This was indeed possible due to good investigation and Pairovi work. The local public and family member of the victim were pleased to see the judgement.
INAUGURATION OF WOMEN PS IN BELONIA -
* On 30-03-2015 Hon'ble DGP Tripura inaugurated Belonia women PS. In this programme DIGP (S/R), DM, local MLA, Sabhadipati, Chairmen BMC, SP (South) participated and addressed the gathering. The local public of Belonia expressed their gratitude and satisfaction to have women police station in Belonia. INCIDENT FREE MGNREGA PAYMENT -
* Due to effective policing no untoward incident took place in this district during the month of April- 2015 relating to MGNREGA payment. The police arrangement was appreciated by all including civil administration and media.

* Due to effective policing TTADC Election – 2015 and local body election – 2015 passed of peacefully without any untoward incident. The police arrangement was appreciated by all.
RTA AWARENESS PROGRAMME-
* On 02-04-2015 organized one RTA awareness meeting at Belonia motor stand. Around 250 motor sramik and local public attended the programme. There was detailed discussion on affect of RTA and how to reduce it. The public as well as motor sramik appreciated the role of police being discharged in reducing RTA.
BLOOD DONATION CAMP
* On 09-04-2015 organized blood donation camp at Santirbazar. In this Programme, SDM, local MLA, Councilor SMC participated and appreciated the initiative of police. There were discussion on importance of blood donation also.
ANTI LIQUOR RAID-
* On 10-04-2015 P.R. Bari PS staff seized 163 bottle of Foreign Liquor u/s 69 T.E. Act from Rangamura market. Local public helped the police during the raid and appreciated the work of police.

* On 13-04-2015 O/C Baikhora along with staff conducted raid at East Charakbai and arrested eight gamblers and seized Rs. 3240 /- along with arrow gambling articles u/s 12 T.G. Act. Local public was delighted to see the gamblers booked.
MINOR GIRL RECOVERED-
* On 23-04-2015 one minor girl was recovered by SI Susanta Deb and accused was also arrested. The girl was kidnapped on 12-04-2015. SI Susanta Deb engaged good source and got the success. The local public and family member of the victim expressed their satisfaction.

* On 23-05-2015 Ld. Court of District & Sessions Judge South, BLN, convicted Sri Ajoy Kr. Bhuiya @ Dablu (25) S/O Lt. Puran Bhuiya of Dhumtilla Chandwa P.S- Kisko, Dist. Latehar (Jharkhand) sentence to suffer R.I for a terms of 07 (Seven) years for commission of offence U/S 376(2)(f) IPC & 4 of POCSO Act, 2012. This ref. BLN P.S Case No. 91/14 dated 25-03-14 U/S 376 IPC. This was indeed possible due to good investigation and Pairovi work. The local public and family member of the victim were pleased to see the judgement.
COMMUNITY POLICING-
* On 30-05-2015 one Mega Prayaas meeting was held in the Manughat Community Hall. In this programme SDM Sabroom, SP (South), local public representative and local public especially from tribal community participated. They shared their views on reduction of Crime Against Women cases and also tendency of suicide among women folk. The initiative taken by South Tripura district police was appreciated. SUPERSTITION NUTRILIZED BY POLICING-
* During the month of May, June there was rumour in the interior tribal area regarding male sex organ being reduced if the male person goes outside the house. An incident of assault upon three persons out of suspicion /rumour of Witch was also happened at Santirbazar on 04-06-2015 and subsequently, common public, out of superstition attacked upon Santirbazar District Hospital. A lot of Prayaas meeting were held in the interior areas involving public representative, Doctors, SDM and magician also. At present this rumour is no more prevalent in the area. The initiative of Police, in taking away the rumour / superstition was appreciated by all.
SWACCHA BHARAT ABHIYAN-
* On 07-06-2015 Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan was organized at Manubazar market and hospital area. In this Programme local public, merchant, public representative also participated. This was appreciated by the media and local public.
COMMUNITY POLICING-
* On 11-06-2015 a mass meeting was organized at Bhuratali Panchayet office where the public was made aware on chit fund, gambling, crime against women, suicide, illicit liquor. Sports goods were handed over to the representative of local club by DIGP (S/R), SDM, local MLA, Chairperson BAC, Principal Govt. Degree college, Sabroom. Local public was delighted to get all the govt .officials by the side of them. They also interacted with govt. officials on their day to day problem and requested to organize such programme on routine basis.

* On 25-06-2015 the Ld. Session Judge, South Tripura District, convicted Sri Suman Nama (28) S/O Nimai Chandra Nama of Sukanta Palli, PS- Manubazar, South Tripura District in c/w MNB PS Case No. 86/12 U/S 302 IPC and sentenced to suffer R.I for life for the offence committed U/S 302 IPC. This ref. MNB PS Case No. 86/12 U/S 302/34 IPC. This was indeed possible due to good investigation and Pairovi work. The local public and family member of the victim were pleased to see the judgement.
MINOR GIRL RECOVERED-
* On 25-06-2015 a minor girl recovered and accused arrested by SI Sonapada Jamatia. The recovery was possible by regularly monitoring the movement of the accused and victim through tower location. The local public and family member of the victim expressed their satisfaction.
RAPIST CONVICTED FOR 10 YEARS
* On 01-07-2015 the Ld. Court of Dist. & Session Judge, South Tripura, convicted Sri Bimal Das (40) S/O Lt. Sadhu Das of Manughat, P.S- Sabroom, South Tripura and sentenced to suffer R.I for a term of 10 (ten) years.This was indeed possible due to good investigation and Pairovi work. This refers SBM P.S Case No. 132/13 U/S 376(2)(i) IPC read with sec. 5(m)/ 6 of P.C.S.O Act’ 2012.
VANMOHATSAV -
* South Tripura District police organized Vanmohatsav in a befitting manner from 01-07-2015 to 07-07-2015. In this programme 400 fruit bearing trees was planted by organizing programme on importance of Vanmohatsav. In this programme local MLA, SP (South), chairman Municipal Council, Chairmen Panchayet samitee, local press participated and appreciated the work.

* Over the issue of rape upon a minor girl by an unknown miscreant under the jurisdiction of PR Bari PS there was tension in the area after the incident. The criminal had taken away one mobile set from the house of victim. There was no clue left at the PO by the miscreant. Then and there Police swung into action. Tracking the tower location and also engaging good and effective source the case was detected and a/p was arrested. Local public, media and senior officer appreciated the initiative of police. This refers to P.R. Bari PS case No.56/15 dated 09-07-2015 U/S- 454/376(2)(1)/380/506 IPC and R/W sec. 4 of POCSO Act 2012.

By engaging secret source, all the computers along with accessories were recovered and the complete chain of gang of the accused (08 Nos) were arrested. ** * On 28-09-2015 Ld. Sessions Judge South, Belonia, convicted accuseds (1) Jiban Majumder(44) S/O Lt. Harihar Majumder (2) Tapan Majumder (48) S/O Lt. Harihar Majumder (3) Smt. Shibani Majumder W/O Sri Tapan Majumder all of South Jolaibari ,P.S-BKR & sentenced to suffer R.I for 05(five ) Years for the offence punishable U/S 306 IPC. This ref. BKR P.S Case No. 49/12 dated 03-07-2012 U/S 498(A)/304(B) IPC. This was indeed possible due to good investigation and Pairovi work. The local public and family member of the victim were pleased to see the judgement.

* On 07-10-2015 Ld. Sessions Judge Belonia, South Tripura convicted accused Md. Badsha Miah (26) S/O Lt. Khoka Miah of Amjadnagar, P.S-BLN for the offence punishable U/S 489(B) /489(C) IPC & sentenced to suffer R.I for 05 years for the offence punishable U/S 489(C) IPC. This ref. BLN P.S Case No. 245/12 dated 20-12-2012 U/S 489(B)/489(C) IPC. This was indeed possible due to good investigation and Pairovi work. The local public and media appreciated the police work.

* On 09-10-2015 one minor girl was kidnapped by unknown person. This refers to SBM PS Case No. 77/15 dated 10-10-2015 u/s- 366(A) IPC Tracking the mobile tower, the victim was recovered and the accused was also arrested. This was appreciated by the victim family, local public and also media.

ILLEGAL MIGRANT ARRESTED-
* On 23-10-2015 Sabroom PS staff arrested three Bangladeshi national under 3 of IPP Act and seized incrementing document from their possession. The raid was conducted on basis of public information and public expressed their satisfaction after their arrest.
WITH IN 24 HOURS UNKNOWN RAPIST ARRESTED-
* During Durgapuja Festival 2015, a minor tribal girl, resident of Santirbazar PS jurisdiction was abducted and gang raped by two unknown non tribal miscreant. Communal tension was cropping up over this incident. Police of the district as team had taken up this as a challenge. Using the detective skill and technology the Nos. of suspected mobiles were sorted out. Thereafter, by tracking tower location and also engaging good reliable source the case was detected and both the a/ps were arrested. Local public, media and senior officer appreciated the initiative of police. This refers to STB PS case No. 61/15 dated 23-10-2015u/s- 417/120(B)/366(A)/376(D)IPC and Sec. 44 & 6 PCSO act 2012.

* On 26-10-2015 based on secret information O/C Baikhora PS along with staff conducted raid at Baikhora market and seized 100 pkts containing 1200 numbers sound crackers. The raid was appreciated by local public and senior citizen.

* On 30-10-2015 one minor girl was recovered and the accused was arrested by a team of police headed by SI Badal Mallik of Sabroom PS by engaging secret source. The local public and family member of the victim expressed their satisfaction.
HUMAN FACE OF POLICE-
* On 01-11-2015 South Tripura District police actively participated by providing logistic support in a hepatitis irradiation programme to make the Bharat Chandra Nagar block completely free from Hepatitis. The initiative was appreciated by common public and health officials and media.

Tripura (20) S/O Birendra Tripura all of Choto Sakbari, P.S-MNB & sentenced to suffer R.I for life for the commission of offence punishable U/S 302/34 IPC. This ref. MNB P.S Case No. 19/14 dated 18-02-2014 U/S 364 IPC & added sec.302/201/392/120(B) IPC

* On 25-11-2015 Murasingh Religious festival was held at Patichari. Though it is a religious festival of a particular tribe, yet people form all walks of life participated in this programme and enjoyed due to adequate police arrangement. The organizer as well as businessmen and pilgrims express their satisfaction on police arrangement.

* * On 25-11-2015 Addl. SP (South) along with SDPO Belonia and P.R. Bari PS staff conducted raid at Kamalpur under P.R. Bari PS and destroyed 9,000 Ganja plant costing around Rs. 90,00000/-
ABETTOR GOT CONVICTION-
* On 26-11-2015 Ld. District & Sessions Judge, South Tripura, Belonia convicted accused person namely Sri Sachindra Tripura (42) S/O Lt. Kali Kr. Tripura of East Takka Tulshi, P.S-MNB & sentenced to suffer R.I for 04(four) years for the commission of offence punishable U/S 306 IPC. This ref. MNB P.S Case No. 62/14 dated 08-10-2014 U/S 306 IPC. This was indeed possible due to good investigation and Pairovi work. The local public and family member of the victim were pleased to see the judgement.
AWARENESS PROGRAMME-
* On 29-11-2015 an health awareness programme was organized at Munda Basti under Belonia PS. In this programme local doctor, Social worker along with SP (South) participated and delivered lecture on basic rule of health and hygiene, affect of illicit liquor, gambling etc. This was appreciated by local public and media.
SANGHATI MELA ENDED PEACEFULLY
* Sangshati Mela like previous year was held at Chandrapur under P.R. Bari PS on and from 06-12-2015 to 09-12-2015. The fair is organized by the side of Indu-Bangla border in a Mosque. Hindu and Muslim people from whole the state participate in this fair. Due to adequate police arrangement the fair passed of peacefully. Local public expressed their satisfaction on the police arrangement.
