Chief's Message

                It is a matter of great  pleasure to showcase the West Tripura District Police electronically and to reach out to the community in this fashion. West Tripura District is the most populous District of the State Tripura. It has Bangladesh in the West, Khowai District in the North and Sipahijala in the South. Being the populous and surrounded by the Bangladesh in the West, naturally, registration of the cases are also high in comparison to other districts. However, with the help of community and relentless and comprehensive efforts in the proactive policing by the district police, unequivocal reductions in the registration of crimes are noticed.

               West Tripura District has always been, and will continue to be committed to the concept of providing the best possible services to the community through patrol work, enforcement efforts and the myriad duties our officers and men perform on a daily basis.

              We understand that to be a successful, we must work closely with the community stakeholders in our efforts to strengthen trust and reduce crime specially in crime related to women and RTA. Since the inception of “Prayaas” in Tripura State, district police is relentlessly working with the community shoulder to shoulder to control over the crime against women and RTA and district police is anticipating a fruitful and positive result on it.

Working together with community, we can continue to make West Tripura District a  safer place to live in, work and learn.
